Goldfinch on a Pub Sign

Lots of rain overnight and overcast all day.  Ventured out in the afternoon on a route through town, keeping to pavements.

Met up with a friend of ours who pointed out this proud looking bird on the pubsign at the back of an empty pub.  This is my version of the 'bird on a stick' photograph.
