I make no apologies for this blip. I find these blue skies astonishing and they need to be made centre of attention, rather than just being the background for something else. Not a scrap of cloud today and no planes, so no contrails . . . just blue. (title words from E.E Cummings)

We could perhaps do with a bit of blue sky thinking when it comes to 'What next?' Is anyone really thinking, planning or just setting off rumours to be immediately contradicted. Scary!
