Stripping the Camellias

This is something new. At least, I've not noticed it before.
This king parrot sat in the camellia and ate everything except the leaves.
He particularly seemed to enjoy the petals.

It's likely since so much bush has been burnt around here, that his native food source has dried up.

Coogee, Clovelly and Maroubra beaches have been opened for exercising.
To quote a newsreader, "there will be no sunbaking  or sandcastles.":))


The curve is still flattening, but the big news is that the government is bringing out a coronavirus tracking app, which will require at least 40% participation, as it will not be mandatory.
Of course there is much debate about privacy issues.
