On The Streets - Portland

On a walk with camera others are walking with purpose along nearly empty streets.  We did get some welcome rain today.  Absent the rain, we are quickly reminded of the risk of fires.

We are past middle of April.  Our granddaughters came to the gate and delivered a delicious cake and some drawings.  It was bittersweet seeing them and not being able to hold them.  They are children and not yet able to understand why the cannot come into our house.  We miss them so very much.
