Big 5 on a wall

The wood carving Preshelia bought for me in Durban & then she had to meet me at the airport in Johannesburg to give it to me. Thanks Presh! Not the best photo; it looked better on the camera's screen.

Spent the whole afternooon looking for a hotel for our April longweekend in Brugge for C's birthday. We settled on a hotel in Damme & booked the Eurotunnel. Will be our first trip to the Continent, all on our own, driving our own car. Hope we (& them) survive.

The wind wasn't a man's friend today & it was cold. The temperature wasn't that low, but we couldn't get warm.
