Drying off.

I saw this eagle with it's wings spread out, I think it was trying to dry out from the rain today.  I walked down the lawn area trying to get a little closer, this is still pretty heavily cropped.  I wondered why it kept one eye on the water and didn't rotate it's head like they usually do.  When I saw the photos on the computer it's very sad the one eye has something wrong with it, possibly blind.

We need the rain, it has been unusually dry here this spring so I'm not complaining (yet).
