My Little Alien Buddha

I’ve blipped this little chap before. He’s such a treasure - made for me by my grandson having pottery lessons from my friend. He’s currently lurking in the new herb border, which is getting nicely established. Always, always makes me smile!
To make the weekend different from the weekday slog, I thought I would keep clear of housework and spend the whole day in the garden. Morning in the greenhouse- sowing annuals and potting on. (Tithonia looking fab). Afternoon finally finished clearing the wall border and planted another hemerocallis. I cut some chives and made fishcakes with leftovers from last night in a Panko crumb coating with home made lemon and chive mayonnaise. Catching up with Wolf Hall on iPlayer.
