Rain at last!

It has been a long time since we had any rain here. The garden was bone dry and the water level in the garden pond very low so I was glad to see the rain.  It's been grey and cold so not a day for outdoor activities but at least I won't have to water the plants tonight!.

The photo is of wet blossom on the small crab apple tree that was planted on 17th March in my front garden (blipped here). It is obviously happy there as it's covered in leaves and blossom.
