Book Culling

In the never-ending struggle to simplify and organize our lives, it's time to look at our book collection with critical eyes. Cynthia is much better at this than I am. I find it very hard to get rid of books -- even the ones that I've been meaning to read for the last twenty years but never started. I find it helps to do it a little at a time, like eating an elephant.

I started during a break from my painting and cleaning this afternoon, and managed to send a few volumes on their way to the used book store, library, or perhaps the recycler.
