Lunch today

It's been a great day today, mainly because of finishing the main chores yesterday. I had a nice lie-in and did the ironing while G was in the kitchen, cooking up a storm. This was lunch... ham quiche and brownie for dessert. All super.

Later on, we got to chat with our friend Rachel via Zoom. She relayed the story of a man in Kenya who travelled from Mombasa to his village several hundred miles away. He was sick on the way and went to the clinic in his village but didn't say where he had come from etc. Sadly, he died. The doctor was suspicious so tested him for COVID-19. He was positive. Such a sad and tragic story.
