2020 Friday — Grocery Delivery
This is the second time we have had groceries delivered during our 35+ days of “sheltering-at-home”/“isolation.” I found Cynthia, our personal shopper, on a local group in social media. I was not wild about using Instacart and had read posts of people complaining that their groceries had been paid for, but never delivered. I just did not want to deal with it.
So Cynthia was a pleasant alternative. Her fee is reasonable ($15 - $20) and I give her a tip. We pay her cash or have the option of paying her online once she arrives with the groceries.
We spray the groceries with alcohol and leave them in the garage on the table for several hours (except for the refrigerated items—those go in the garage refrigerator) and use hand sanitizer.
