Wine O'Clock

I had an evening meeting with the ladies from work this evening, the subject was wine o'clock and was absolutely what was needed, they are a great bunch. 

We had a morning without enough direction, which is never good and indeed included me shouting at the youngest (when you destroy your brothers logo creation repeatedly and then throw lego around the floor after being asked not to three times, it's likely your mother will loose it a little!).  However we made up by making a chocolate cake, which surely proves that chocolate really does help most situations. 

The husband took the boys out for a walk in a local wood - aptly named bluebell wood.  I'd been hoping to go there as well, I'll have to take the boys next week!  The afternoon crew have a great routine of walk, with a stop for hot chocolate and a snack, they always come back happy. 

Today I'm grateful for:
Early morning run - and coming home to a lovely welcome from the boys 
New work friends who are genuinely lovely people 
Feeling almost in control with work - amazing given we're working such strange hours!
