Pippa

Mum made the heartbreaking decision to put Pippa to sleep today. She had been going downhill for weeks, we were hoping that she could last out the lockdown but it wasn't to be. The vet sedated her in the car, she wouldn't have known that mum wasn't with her at the end. It's so hard living close bit not being able to pop round with that hug..

Social distance...has become the new normal. We have fallen into a sedentary routine. Breakfast in bed, catch up with the news..walk the dogs, lazy lunch. Potter all afternoon, cook tasty dinner.. bedtime again. Sounds idyllic but really looking forward to getting back to work. Very proud of the fact that we are so comfortable in each other's skin. We have never spent so much time together. 23 days, 24/7. Love him to bits, but miss the rest of the family so much.
