The first to bloom...
...although there are lots more that aren't far behind. It was snowing again this morning, but the snow was melting on contact, so it doesn't LOOK like it snowed except for some residual wetness, which is where the drops on the daffodil came from. I took Tom for his lab draw this morning & we'd just walked inside the house--hadn't even taken our coats off--when his phone rang, so I knew it wasn't going to be good. His white count is over four times higher than normal & the Dr. was amazed that he's feeling good and not having any problems. The pill he's on can cause things like this to happen, so they've stopped the pill for now and put him on a new one to bring the white count down. Just waiting for the pharmacy to fill the prescription so I can run over and pick it up. It's never good when things start going wonky, especially now with the virus complicating everything, but it IS good that he's not feeling the effects of the "wonky-ness" right now. I'm so grateful that Tom has a Dr. and staff who are so on top of his care! :)) Thanks to Anni/BikerBear for her long term Flower Friday challenge.
