Itching to come out
We needed to collect some eggs today from our sons place. We were delighted to see these three hanging out of the window itching to get out!
Whilst there we saw some of the other animals and birds. The Balwen mum with her twins and the mother duck with her growing babies are in extras.
We felt sorry for them all as their home was being refurbished and extended before the virus came. The builders could not continue and so they are now living on a building site.
They are really happy though and have done so much to help us over the last few weeks.
The update from our island government came today, from the 25th April sole trader business owners can begin to work again. Schools will not reopen until at least after the half term holiday in early June. This will mean miss T will not be going back as she will not be at her present school next year.
Travel in and out of Guernsey will not be opened up again for quite some time. On the whole the news is positive here as the testing and contact tracing is keeping pace. Over 65’s will need to stay at home in a bubble for the foreseeable future.
