Break up of winter.

April’s color palette is drab, especially on a day with white to gray skies. “Break up” is short fortunately and we are all excited to finally see lawns emerging from their winter cover. Gravel, used on the roads, covers the pavement in places. Snow is tinged brownish. We await the promise of May’s sun and buds.
