From Bad to Worse

Today, Archie is feeling rather sorry for himself. His paws are a lot better, but now he is suffering from Gastroenteritis...

We first realised something was up when he had an accident in his bed. He never does that! Then he was sick, and he wasn't his usual happy self. He also hadn't drunk any water for 24 hours and was refusing food (not like him at all). So we called the vet, took him in, and she said he needed to stay in over night for tests to be carried out.

She took bloods and x-rays of him, and we had a call a few hours later saying it was gastroenteritis. She said he was to be on anti-biotics, but that she wasn't happy for him to stay at the vets over night as he was upset and crying, and it wouldn't help him keep hydrated if he was upset.

So, we picked him up from the vets. This blip is Archie giving his mum cuddles before bed. He's really not himself, but hopefully the anti-biotics will help him quickly!

Whilst lying in this position, he accidentally pee'd on his mum! What a wee shame.

Here's hoping tomorrows blip is a little more up beat!
