Color!

Pink dogwood is my favorite flowering tree, and when I saw it against the brilliant blue sky this afternoon, it took my breath away. 

The extra photo is a bit of a mystery. Several sections of the sidewalk had fossil-like ferns embedded in them, but this one had a little extra surprise. Do you see what I see?
