Slurry

This is one of the new type machines that the EU is requiring farmers to move to in coming years for spreading slurry. Loads of tubes dragged along the ground instead of spraying it around in the air.

I wonder how much longer we can continue putting this stuff out on our fields, in this case, just a few hundred metres from our parish water supply. It is a problem society, in general, has to tackle. If we want meat & dairy products then this is the result.

I am not too sure if the one time saviour, bio-gas units, actually make the gunge less toxic when it has done its work making electricity..
