...of all he surveys. Think this is the WoL basin swan, keeping out potential intruders from the docks whilst having a good preen and brush up. He was unamused at the antics of the eiders. Not sure where the missus is nesting - probably under one of the bridges, but she was still swithering last time I saw her.

This was on what has become my weekly walk to M & S crumbly hour in the spookily quiet Ocean Terminal. I also noted cowslips growing on the dock side and sand martins hunting over Victoria Dock.
