No picnics allowed!

This morning F's daughter and son-in-law brought us some shopping, it's great to have plenty of fresh food again.  We sat at opposite ends of the garden to chat and it was lovely to see them.

When they'd gone we went for a walk along the lanes from his house. The wild flowers were beautiful to see.

The photo is of the River Morda and this spot is a favourite local play and picnic spot with stepping stones and a pole going from one side of the river to the other. I wouldn't fancy crossing on the pole especially when there's a flooded river!

In the short time that we were there, a police car slowly cruised by twice.  I assume that they were checking that there were no gatherings or picnickers there. No, we were not interviewed!

I went out to clap for the NHS this evening.  More neighbours every week whichis great and one couple came out with a glass of wine.  We're all taking a glass next week.
