The Road Not Less Travelled
Went across to my Mum’s today to take her pineapple sponge, cheese and milk, she has got over her craving for dog biscuits, coal and pickle walnuts (that was 70 years ago). She was quite spirited today.
This is the road home; it may appear there is less traffic but there isn’t. Much to my amazement I passed Ziberoonie coming down Clowly hill. We had a briefing at the statutory distance.
Today was the kind of fine day we so deserved after yesterday. CMC sowed seeds and I heeled in a few perennials in another cold frame. We extended the plant area inside the garden and will hopefully soon be planting in the polytunnel.
Polly James is 79.
