Finally took the rake's gearcase to my cousin again, over five months after realizing it still doesn't fit after the first visit there. Hopefully after this visit it will. Took this nearby on the way back.

The weather was very variable. Sleet and slush in the morning, but I think not quite as much as was forecast, then some sun. The clouds in the blip threw a proper rain shower, but probably less back home, but some more showers later in the afternoon.

In the evening I sat on the stairs for a while with a camera and took the extras. A blue tit didn't mind me being there and came to eat at the feeder. The robin was on a fence post 20 metres away, so had to crop a lot. Further away on the field there was a lapwing and a pair of goldeneyes flew over the yard. It was just +4°C, but seeing the birds made it feel like spring.
