Over the last few months I have entered nearly 26000 voters records into this database - from a copy of the electoral register on polling day, showing who voted. It's taken so long due to computer problems (I input about 2500 before we realised there was a problem and I had to start again....)

From this snapshot, I can tell you it would seem you are most likely to vote if you have a postal vote. Also you are more likely to vote if your parents, siblings and/or partner votes. You are also more likely to vote if several of your neighbours do - presumably reflecting more affluent areas (I don't know the streets well enough to be definite), although it happened in small pockets so it could be where people offer each other lifts etc.

But the most likely thing to happen on polling day, even if you are registered to vote, is that you don't vote. Most depressing.
