Handsome Boy

Male Red-bellied Woodpecker at the BarkButter feeder. I've reduced the birds' daily ration of BarkButter to a little less than half of what I offer them in the Fall and Winter. I continue to feed even though there is plenty of natural food to eat since they're all nesting and raising young, I figure that extra nourishment can't hurt. I also cut back on feeding the squirrels, so I'm 'dealing with' their noisy demands! Little beasties that they are!  ;)
