Day 26 : building the levee

As you know our allotment was flooded earlier this year and today we shifted all the deposits laid down by the fence along the track, placing it along the river bank to give us an extra foot before the next flood.
It wouldn’t have been enough for the last flood (by about 2ft 6inches), but would have stopped the one before!
