It's ok. I ran today...

...9 days of no running with all the snow I've been on the verge of stir crazy. Hopped out of bed with glee having heard the rain in the night hoping for a decent run, and squinting at the blue sky & sunshine (it's been so long!). Roads were clear but alas the trail and paths were still compressed snow & ice. Not usual pace as darting between virgin snow and gaps where it'd melted but it was *so* good to be back out in it... Perfect start to a terrific weekend ahead, lazy long catch up lunch with a girlfriend, dinner with another & a great chums 5oth in my home village :)
