Not exactly...

...from the "bakes when tense" file, though indeed I've been absolutely out of my mind with tension lately. Instead, these make their appearance as part of a promise to coworkers, after a plea of "when are you going to make those chocolate peanut butter cupcakes for us again?" Not necessarily the worst way to spend a lonely Sunday, plus I found adorable Reese cups to pull the whole thing together.

Not to mention, this is truly a testament to something slightly bigger. I do enjoy baking and I especially enjoy impressing people with my baking, but the level of care that goes into these little things highlights something that hasn't been true for me for a very long time: I love my job.
