But posting a letter costs 48p these days. So you’d get 2 useful stamps and 2p change or 2 x 1p stamps to make up £1. I don’t know when this was last used but some time ago...

Trip to the Co-op which was pretty much deserted. I’m delighted to see that they have spicy Italian seasoning and chocolate Weetabix back in stock. Sadly no peppers, courgettes, tomatoes or similar but I did get some packs of couscous for when they do.
