Postman delivered a set of hub pullers so, after work, went to the garage and was able to do the job that had stalled previously- took the steering wheel off to replace the mended plastic cover for the stalks. And then put the wheel back on straight rather than the annoying ten degrees off that it’s been ever since I replaced the column bearing.
