Day 26 The good, the bad and the ugly

A busy day today finishing sorting out the utility room, clearing it out, cleaning the walls, rubbing down the paint, filling in the holes, ordering bits and pieces to create a new coat rack and then I painted the ceiling which actually nearly finished me off!! When Chris got home we went for our walk, chatting to Rathmandu as we left as he had just got home.
The weather was stunning. My favourite type of day without a doubt. Dan got up early and did a second coat on the gate and a couple of the panels and then painted the new panel twice and as much of the next one as he could get to. I've put the before and after pictures on today because he's done an amazing job.
In the news Trump has withdrawn funding to the World Health Organisation. Words fail me.
Worldwide infections now exceed 2 million but in reality the figure is probably much higher as not all countries are testing everyone with symptoms. The UK are hopeful that we've hit our peak and the best news was a 99 year old World War 2 veteran who has raised over 12 million pounds for the NHS by walking 100 laps around his garden. What a superstar!
