Death of a plant

One of the problems with being owned by siamese cats is that plants don't tend to live long in this house. I keep trying to find "cat-proof" plants and with this one I thought I'd found something that our little feline botanist, aka Polly, wouldn't want to chew.

Alas there is more than one way for a cat to kill a plant! This one was unfortunately located on the "Polly Highway" which takes her from the back of a chair and along a chest of drawers to the ribbons that tie back my curtains. Ah well.... at least I now have a good excuse to go looking for a new plant.
