27/365 Mesmerised by the moon

Driving back from Northampton tonight I was absolutely mesmerised by how beautiful the moon looked. It's at times like this I wished I owned a telescope so I could have a proper look.

I was determined to get a photo of it and prayed the cloud would stay away until we had got home. I was quite tempted to stop on the way and take a shot but just couldn't find anywhere suitable that wouldn't have caused a major pile up!

Luckily my wish was granted and I got the shot I wanted.....
