Late blip and run

Funny old day since 16 March (the day lockdown was announced) I have been trying to sort out a medical as instructed by DVLA to renew my driving licence.
At the time the GP was as usual fully booked and the secretary was a little dismissive. DVLA were also very much it was my problem even in a pandemic.

Yesterday I randomly phoned the surgery and got straight through. The staff were great but I needed to phone back when the secretary was available.
Today again I got straight through and the secretary was friendly and said she would ask the doctor to phone me.

This afternoon he did I told him that DVLA had said as I am a key worker (I have a letter to confirm it) if he was happy we could do the medical over the phone.
After weeks of worrying the forms are on the way back to Swansea GPS now have spaces in their diaries an odd consequence of COVID.
