Davey boy...
Enjoying a moment in the sun...
I'm grateful for today. It felt very undramatic, calm and relaxed... a nice mix of industry and inactivity... Our little back yard was a sun trap, so I made cyanotypes with little un... I got some work done and I had a successful test of the video conferencing that we'll be using for the Children's Hearings during lockdown. We also did a bit of gentle low key school stuff whilst topping up our vitamin D... then later I popped to the shops to get some food for mum and we had a front garden chat...
I'm feeling lucky and thankful. We have our outdoor space, and no matter how small it is we can still enjoy the sun. We also have plenty of open space nearby for our daily exercise. The three of us are together, and despite occasional frictions, it's a home full of love. Food is easily accessible from small local shops that feel safe to visit. Mum is nearby and we can still talk and communicate with ease... we're able to stay home with very little discomfort, and we don't have to deal with the risks that our NHS, carers, shop assistants and front line workers have to deal with... all reasons to be glad and thoughtful.
