Blooming

Our Clematis Montana is loving the sunshine, these are the first of the many flowers in full bloom.  One remaining Tulip in a pot on its last legs, but still looking beautiful in its own way.*

Whilst sitting in the garden there was a tremendous kerfuffle in the sky, lots of loud squawking and then a bird (a bit too far away to identify, or get a photo) snatched another bird and flew away with it. Other than that and a squawking child a few gardens away, its been a lovely and peaceful afternoon!
