Dangerous work

trying to garden on this slope, have left walls in to give idea of steepness. This is the one area which is most difficult in our sloping garden so never gets done efficiently. I cannot attempt it if damp so it gets left and the ground hardens, today it was rock hard. As safety comes first I have to accept it will always look a mess. It will have Penstemon flowers later in the season so won't look quite as bad. Another super warm sunny day.
