Not the most graceful of landings!

I had great plans this morning to make some 'red' soup .... red pepper and sweet potato but I had no sweet potatoes. Amazingly I got straight into the supermarket .... not a queue in sight. Veg purchased I left the car and walked along to the Heritage Park.

It was rather dull and chilly so a brisk walk was the best way to beat the cold. Swans are very noisy both taking off and landing so there is always plenty of warning for an expected crash landing.

The weather did improve in the afternoon but despite the sunshine and blue skies it still wasn't very warm.
