LD 23 Potential

Cathleen was planting potatoes today, whilst I was in endless telephone discussions , with and without accompanying pictures (see previous blips !)

But I did break off long enough to get this image to which I have of course added an effect .   

I don't do that too often (though I do tidy images up a bit ) but it seemed to me it would be nice to emphasise the explosive potential of the seed potato, so to speak, given the amount of other potatoes they produce even in an average year.

My father, an Ayrshire man true to his roots, used to plant a few rows every year even well into his retirement, as he liked nothing better than a first early.   These of course are a bit late for that.
