Hocus Pocus Crocus

I was surprised to see my second favourite flower, the crocus (my favourite is the daffodil..I'm very cheap to buy for!) starting to bloom in St. Alfege Park this afternoon when I walked through there. The yellow ones always seem to appear first, before the white and purple. Beautiful little flowers!

Just tonight and tomorrow, then my son Daniel goes off on his own on his gap year travels to Australia and South East Asia until the summer. We went out for a family meal tonight, most of the Greenwich restaurants were full after a fairly sunny day, so just ended up in Gourmet Burger Kitchen for one of those erupting, giant, burgers that are impossible to eat without some sort of spillage. Time for me to crawl into my tortoise hibernation box and re-appear in a few months time until he is home I think!
