The plan was to have a run in Blackpool then a swim before heading to the cinema to see Les Miserables.

As I parked up just off The Prom I could feel the wind buffeting the car. I then saw a photographer getting some shots for the press.

I agreed to do a VERY SHORT jog along the sea wall for him to get some shots. The photographer, Dave Nelson, gave his permission to add them to Flickr. There is one in this article

The photographer and I had a chat on the top before I did a few yards in each direction for him to get some shots. It was a case of down the steps, 50 yards one way and 50 back. He wanted to get a perspective of the height of the waves. Wasn't anything like as dangerous as people might think.

I gave up on the outdoor run and went off to the gym to complete it. Got the swim done and Les Mis was brilliant.
