Wide Wednesday Local Landscape
I did plenty of walking around the farm today as knew it wouldn’t be hard to find a nice picture of the local landscape for Freyjad’s challenge.
Again it was hard to choose but in the end I settled for this one which I took impulsively from the back of a very bumpy tractor, not expecting it to be any good at all.
There is a bit of a campaign on in the valley to trap feral pigs. National Parks supplied us with a trap and we caught our first this morning which was quite exciting. They had been in the last couple of nights (we have a movement sensitive camera set up which captured them) but they hadn’t triggered the trap which is a very cutting edge system of wire attached to a stick ;-)
We have a pile burn going in the paddock tonight so going up to cook our sausages on it.
I should also try some night photography while it’s there to keep warm by.
