Social isolation Tip No. 342b Do DIY

Have you been troubled by fridge/freezer doors snapping off? I know I have. And they charge you £15 for a replacement. So here is my tip

You will need a thin sheet of metal (I have copious amounts because my dad was an aircraft fitter) and an old worn-out saw. Plus a well equipped workshop.

1. Design, cut and drill metal bit

2. Remove handle from saw

3. Attach handle to metal bit

4. Attach new handle to door

5. Simples

NB The freezer is in our cellar so aesthetics did not figure highly in my solution.

WARNING Do not go into a DIY store asking for "Saw Handles"
