Wipedown
Sharon, my favourite cousin, shopped for me today, the third time since I've been cocooned. Rather than sidle past me to drop the bags off in the hall and then beat a hasty retreat, this time she stayed for a while as we sat (safely distant) outside in the sun and had a bit of a natter over coffee and biscuits.
It was a welcome encounter which not only re-stocked my cupboards and my fridge but provided a very welcome change from the routine of confinement. She also made all the right complimentary noises about the weeding and tidying I'd done in the front garden.
I unpacked the bags when she left, got out my antiseptic wipes and wiped down the shopping before putting it away.
