Walk in the Woods
Today was such a perfect day weatherwise - bright sunshine with a gentle cooling wind .
We walked the same route as a few days ago but 5hen followed a bridle path through bluebell woods . It was magnificent because the bluebells just went on and on along the path and in swathes on the sloping wooded sides for a couple of miles .
Altogether we managed a 5 mile walk and the only downside was we couldn't complete the circular route on the bridleway .When we crossed the A30 ,after encountering some far too curious bullocks , we found the bridleway became a thicket .So we walked back along the road wi5h cars speeding next to us .
There seemed to be an awful lot of traffic today .
I had another ukulele session by Zoom with the Shaftesbury Uke group .I really enjoy seeing familiar faces - there were 23 of us although Robin, the organiser has to mute everyone still !!
