Almond Cake

I baked this cake - recipe from Nigella - this morning. We always have ‘tea time treats’ about 4.30 when we take a break from gardening. Scones are always a favourite and easy to produce but I’m trying to improve my baking skills so need to practise different recipes.
In the garden I planted a Veronica ‘Tissington White’, Phlox paniculata and another Paeonia. Lots of weeding and clearing rubble.
