Thermometer Installation

We got a new outside thermometer a few days ago and I put it out back on a nail.  The first real puff of wind sent it crashing to the ground and broke the tabs that hold the "crystal" in place.
  
After gluing the lens back in place I finally did the job properly and there are three screws holding the thermometer to the wall.  The only wind that could take it down now would have to be strong enough to destroy that part of the house.
