Abbey Mill

Another lovely day.  I am gripped by my new book and spent a good bit of the day reading it.  Easter eggs appeared and everyone was happy to received chocolate.  We sampled our bread order for a late breakfast – very nice was the verdict, though BB would have liked more chocolate in his pain au chocolat.  I then baked a chocolate Guinness cake, and later decorated with mini eggs..

TT started another jigsaw.  He thinks he won it in a school raffle.  Anyway, it was brand new – still in the wrapping and he did most of it.  I did assist with the cars and in the end I finished it off.  We have become jigsaw addicts.

No one wanted to walk with me today.  TT’s back wouldn’t allow him.  He settled himself in the sun, read his book and Skyped his mum.  And by the time I got back, he was well into making a roast chicken dinner. Later he watched a Wolverine movie and I read my book, but didn’t quite finish it.

We remembered that we should have been at Auntie E’s for a family Easter lunch today – but that wasn’t to be.

This is Abbey Mill.  I think I have blipped it before, but is has been damaged by fire since then, so even more derelict now.
