LOCK DOWN – DAY 22

This afternoon I trekked around town. Thought it might be quite interesting to have a walk around the capital city of Scotland and see what was happening. Nothing was happening. The streets were virtually empty. It was really eerie. Don't think we'll ever see it like this again............................ But it does pose the question?.................. when all this is over, will life ever go back to how it was before? I doubt it. How can it? People's lives have changed dramatically over the last three weeks. Is there ever going to be a total recovery from this?

It's being compared to the 1st and 2nd World Wars. The difference being; during World War 1 & 2, people knew who they were fighting. The trouble with Coronavirus is............... we don't yet seem to have a strategy to kill it. And that is the problem.

BUT, we are lucky................................

We have food. (We might have to queue but we don't have rationing). We have TV. We have the internet. We have phones. We have COMMUNICATION with each other. None of which people had during the 1st & 2nd World Wars.

STAY HOME, SAVE LIVES.

More than 12,000 dead. Scary times!

PS – This is a BLIP of me, just about to walk through Princess Street Gardens. There were lots of squirrels that needed chasing but I wasn't allowed off my lead. Grrrr...............
