Confinement, Day 29

it has been one month -
we're in this for the long haul --
at least spring is here

The weather's a bit colder than last week because the winds have turned to the Northeast, but the skies are clear blue.

President Macron's talk last night had me thinking, and I believe the only reason they want to reopen schools (not universities, incidentally) by 11 May is so that children are taken care of during the day and parents can go back to feed the economy. Surely they won't be able to ensure that children are protected as they should be against the virus in the schools, where it is not even always possible to wash your hands properly?
